Growing up, I used to relish when I was left alone in room. I would stretch and dance and move, because somehow I knew this is what made me feel good to be alive. I didn’t actually start doing “yoga” until I was 17, but when I did, I was hooked. I spent as much time as I could in those years, getting scholarships to go to the Kripalu Center for Yoga in western Massachusettes. I even offered to clean Yoga Centers as trade for classes. I always knew I wanted to teach, though it seemed terrifying at the time. In 2000 I began teaching yoga by donation in my living room in Berlin, Germany. It was a 3 hour event because we would have tea first and I would always make soup for the students for dinner after class. Since my original training at Kripalu I have taken a zillion classes and studied all kinds of styles, including Yin, Bliss, Vinyasa, and Restorative, but my teaching still remains free flowing, relaxing, playful and awakening at its core. Vipassana Mediation also informs my teaching giving special attention to sensations as they arise.
I am also available to lead corporate classes and special events like wedding days, birthdays and retreats.
